Infrastructure service
Infrastructure service is Skanska’s comprehensive solution for operations, maintenance, and construction work that keeps roads open, bridges safe, and outdoor environments well maintained—around the clock.
Our Operations and Maintenance teams handle external upkeep, minor construction tasks, and technical servicing of roads, bridges, and public spaces. Bridges receive annual care that includes pressure washing, cleaning, inspections, and detailed documentation. Lighting installations are managed through planned inspections, lamp replacements, corrective repairs, damage restoration, and full electrical operation responsibility.
Continuous road maintenance
To ensure accessibility for pedestrians, cyclists, vehicles, and public transport, we provide continuous road maintenance. This includes surface and gravel road care, snow removal, sanding, and salting during winter, as well as cleaning and landscaping of rest areas and plantings during summer. Safety equipment such as wildlife fencing, signage, and guardrails is regularly inspected and maintained to the highest standards.
Our outdoor environment services cover cleaning, lawn care, street sweeping, and inspection and repair of playground equipment and public installations. In traffic management, Skanska develops complete traffic control plans, manages permit processes, sets up and monitors sites daily, and provides equipment rentals for temporary traffic lights, signs, and barriers.
Every service is supported by 24-hour standby operations, certified APV (Work on Road) training, professional traffic direction with guards and signal systems, and a modern fleet of specialized vehicles—including TMA crash trucks, cranes, and service vehicles.
All Skanska Infraservice vehicles run on HVO100 renewable diesel or electricity, ensuring that safety, efficiency, and sustainability are built into every project we deliver.
