This design-bid-build contract for the construction of a 300,000-SF facility is the third phase of a multi-story, multi-phased, Ambulatory Care Center, that will ultimately replace Wilford Hall Medical Center (Hospital) currently located at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, TX.

This project involves the construction of a state-of-the-art full service medical treatment facility consisting of Primary Care Clinic, Diagnostic, Surgical and Therapeutic Treatment Center, Specialty Care Center with command and administrative functions, ancillary departments, education programs, and support spaces, associated site work and utilities infrastructure. The construction entails departments such as: Pediatrics, Family Health, Urgent Care, Vaccine Health Research Lab, Chiropractic Clinic, Mental Health, Radiology, Medical Multimedia Department, Logistics and Facility Management.

Phase 3 will entail the construction of building four and will include the build out of buildings number one, two, three and four. Buildings number one, two and three are currently under construction under Phases 1 and 2. The existing Wilford Hall Medical Center (current hospital) will be demolished in a later phase. Supporting facilities include utilities, site improvements, and access roads. The project will be constructed to LEED 3.0 Silver Certified rating standard.
