Constructing the project
The contract included widening and complex modernization of more than 6 km of Warszawska street in Tarnobrzeg. We also repaired 2 km of five side streets: Przemysłowa, Batalionów Chłopskich, Truskawkowa, Wspólna and Dąbie. We rebuilt and paved 11 bus bays and covered them with umbrella roofs.
Modernization of this street was a great challenge due to heavy traffic. We organized our works in such a way as to minimize the inconvenience for drivers and pedestrians. We tried to execute all works that would cause the road to be blocked by heavy equipment during low traffic hours.
The works also included paving of bicycle trail connecting Tarnobrzeg with Wielowieś residential estate. We also paved 9 km of sidewalks with 150 access roads and realized 37 parking lots. We installed 126 street lights along 4 km section of the modernized street. In residential estates Zakrzów, Sielec and Wielowieś we built almost 17 km of sanitary and storm rain water sewerage system with 12 pumping stations and 5 separators.
