The realized building has the total area of more than 46 000 square meters as well as seven overground floors and one underground floor. Library resources shall be kept in storage rooms situated on all levels except the ground floor which will room underground parking garage and technical facilities. Total area of all storage rooms holding library resources exceeds 11 000 square meters.
Extensive collection of the Wrocław University Library will be stored in steel racks with total length of shelves amounting to c.a.108 km. Moreover, 2 780 square meters were designed for general reading rooms, catalogues and reference library collections to be freely accessed by the readers on three levels.
