Skanska realized a modern and functional four storey building with its characteristical arched roof. Within the contract we also executed connections for water supply, sewage, heating, electricity and telecommunications, but also fencing, lighting, green areas and footpaths. Terminal in Jasionka is the first terminal built by Skanska and the biggest cubature investment in the subcarpathian region. The investment was completed within 15 months and 10 days before the contract schedule.
Bennefits for the local community
The impresive building of new terminal is four times bigger than the old one. 90 thousand cubic meters of cubature and 14 thousand square meters of usable area will triple number of passengers – up to 700 passengers by an hor, and 1,5 mln of passengers by a year. It will enable to assist passengers of four planes at the same time. In the future Jasionka airport can be extended with an additional module.
With the investment passengers comfort will improve and port capa city will increase. Jasionka air port is the only airport in Subcarpathian Region and it’s ceation was import ant for the whole Subcarpathian Region.
