This base building and office interior improvement project involved interior and exterior building renovations on a 50-year-old brick and block structure. The work was in a fully-occupied building and consisted of interior demolition of the second and third floors. The project included the addition of a new rear stair tower and employee entrance constructed of masonry/brick veneer and a four-story curtain wall. It also included the removal of the main entrance, replacement of the stairs, construction of a new curtain wall system for this area and renovation of the historic windows on the second and third floors. The building received completely new mechanical systems, electrical main building service and a new roof system with solar panels. The team worked to meet an aggressive schedule and completed the tenant work with minimum disturbance while the client occupied the building.
