How do I access Skanska's workplace introduction?

How do I get an account for Skanska's digital workplace introduction?

You self-register for Skanska's workplace introduction. When you get to the home page, click the “register” box and fill in the details. To be able to do this, you need to provide the following information. Name, personal ID number, e-mail address, company, corporate registration number, immediate manager and telephone number, as well as the name and telephone number of your next of kin.

How do I create a user account?

On the login page, click the Create account box. You get to a new window. Fill in all the fields and then click the Create account box.

Why do I need to enter my personal ID number / Identity number when registering a user account?

In order for Skanska's workplace to be able to identify you and follow up on the completed workplace introduction, your correct personal ID number / identity number is required. The follow-up takes place with the support of your ID06 card in the ID06 applications used by the workplace, and your personal ID number / identity number is linked to your current ID06 card you use at the workplace.

Why do I need to state nationality when registering a user account

When you choose your nationality, you will see the correct format you must enter, the gray text, in the field where you register your personal ID number / identity number. The gray text disappears when you start registering your personal ID number / Identity number.

Why must the personal ID number / identity number have a correct format?

A correct format of personal ID number / identity number is required to be able to link your identity with your current ID06 card.

Why not use ID06 card number instead of the personal ID number/ identity number when registering for the introduction?

The card number is only temporarily linked to the personal ID number. If you change your employer or get a new card, you will also receive a new card number.

Why do I need to enter my e-mail address?

Your email address is needed so we can send you a notification when the introduction is about to expire, but also to be able to reset your password. The instructions for resetting the password are sent to the e-mail address you provided when you registered the user account.

I don't have an e-mail address linked to my company; what do I do?

You can use your private e-mail address or create a new e-mail address for the purpose. This can be done free of charge via Gmail or Hotmail, for example. An e-mail address is needed if, for example, you need to reset the password, but also to receive a notification that the validity of the introduction will shortly expire.

Why do I need to enter the target group?

The choice of target group controls the information you need to enter when creating the account, as well as which workplace introduction you will do.

What information should I enter in the immediate supervisor and telephone number of immediate supervisor fields if I am the owner of the company?

Enter next of kin and their telephone number. We need the information in the event of an accident or crisis.

Log in

I forgot my username and password, what do I do now?

When you get to the home page, click the click the link Forgot password? and fill in the Email address you used to register for the first time, then click the box Send. The e-mail address is also your user name. When you have done this, you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to reset your password.

Language

What languages will Skanska's workplace introduction be available in?

At present the joint part of the workplace introduction is available in the following languages:

  • English
  • Estonian
  • Lithuanian
  • Polish
  • Portuguese
  • Romanian
  • Slovak
  • Spanish
  • Swedish

The workplace specific part varies depending on the workplace that you will work at and the languages that they have published.

How do I change language?

To change language, click the flags at the top of the log in page.

I have a reading disability; how can I do Skanska's workplace introduction?

We suggest a to do the introduction in a group. Contact the workplace management for more information.

Go through the workplace introduction

What devices can I do the workplace introduction on?

It can be done on mobile phone, tablet (with operating system Android or iOS) or computer.

How long does the workplace introduction take?

Between 10 and 30 minutes for each part.

Does the workplace introduction need to be done in one go or can I stop and continue from where I got to later?

You can stop at any time and go back later and begin where you left off.

How do I navigate the workplace introduction?

To get an approved result you have to go through the introduction in full. You must click all sections, boxes and icons and read through. When you have done that, the icons, boxes and finally the section will be marked with a tick in the right corner. If you don't see the tick it means you haven't gone through a section.

How do I know that I am approved on Part 1 Values, General conduct, Health & Safety rules?

Once you have completed the introduction and been approved, a blue PopUp box will appear telling you that you are approved and can move on to Part 2 Your new workplace.

I haven't got a PopUp that tells me I've been approved, what do I do?

Make sure you have gone through all the boxes in the first part of the introduction, they should be marked with a tick in the right corner for you to be approved. Once you have gone through the entire training and all the boxes are ticked, an acknowledgement comes up that you must tick. Once you have done this, you will have access to Part 2 Your new workplace.

If that doesn't solve the problem, make sure that pop ups is turned on in the browser you're using. For instructions on how to do this, search on Google for enable pop ups and then the brand of your browser, mobile phone or tablet. For example, enable pop-ups Google Chrome.

How do I move on to Part 2 Your new workplace?

Once you have completed Part 1 Values, General conduct, Health & Safety rules with approved results, you will be able to look up the introduction for the workplace where you will work. To do this, either enter the workplace name or project number in the search box Start by searching for/retrieving the workplace introduction to your new workplace or by entering the code you received in the search box I have a code. When you search for the workplace, the workplace introduction comes up. Click the link Register me. The introduction can be seen under the heading Older Workplaces. To get to the introduction, click the link Go to the workplace-specific introduction.

Why can’t I move on to Part 2 Your new workplace?

To move on to Part 2 Your new workplace, you must have completed Part 1 Values, General conduct, Health & Ssafety rules with approved results. Only then will you get access to Part 2 Your new workplace. Make sure you have gone through all the boxes in the first part of the introduction, they should be marked with a tick in the right corner for you to be approved. Once you have gone through the entire training and all the boxes are ticked, an acknowledgement comes up that you must tick. Once you have done this, you will have access to Part 2 Your new workplace.

How do I know which workplace to search to be able to do Part 2 Your new workplace in Skanska's workplace introduction?

If you have not already received information about the workplace name or project number in Skanska's workplace introduction, please contact workplace management to get the correct name or project number.

I have already done Part 1 Values, General conduct, Health and Safety rules, but cannot access Part 2 Your new workplace.

The validity period of Part 1 Values, General conduct, Health & Safety rules is one year. If a year has passed since you did Part 1 Values and General conduct and safety rule you need to redo it.

How do I get information that the validity period of Part 1 Values, General conduct, Health & Safety rules has run out?

You can see the validity period when you are logged in to the workplace introduction. The validity period can be found immediately after the implementation instructions once you have logged in. You will also receive a notification by e-mail when the validity period is about to expire.

When the period of validity has expired, should both part 1 and part 2 be repeated?

No, when the validity period for part 1 has expired, it only applies to part 1. Part 2 has no validity period. The one-year validity period for part 1 can be seen on the login page. When the validity period for part 1 is about to expire, the person receives an email asking the person to update their authorization by redoing part 1.

I have already done Part 2 Your new workplace, why do I have to redo it when I go to a new workplace?

Yes, because each workplace is unique and the content of the introduction is tailored to the workplace you are going to work.

How do I know that I have completed Part 2 Your new workplace with an approved result?

After you complete a section with an approved result, it is marked with a green tick instead of a red exclamation mark. Once you have completed the whole of Part 2 Your new workplace with an approved result, a pop up window will tell you that you are approved and can log out.

You can also see that you have completed the relevant site introduction Part 2 Your new workplace with an approved result by logging in to Part 1 Values, General conduct, Health & Safety rules and scrolling down to the header Older Workplaces and looking up the relevant workplace. If You are approved, the workplace is marked with the text Completed in the lower left corner. If You are not approved, it is marked with Incomplete.

Why am I not approved after I finished Part 2 Your new workplace?

To be approved you must have gone through all the sections and clicked all the icons and boxes. Once you've done that, a confirmation box will be visible that you need to tick. Check that sections are marked with a green tick. If one or more sections has a red exclamation mark, it means you missed something in that section. Check that all the icons and boxes are marked with a tick. Also make sure you have confirmed the section by ticking the box at the bottom.

I haven't got a pop up that tells me I've been approved for Part 2 Your new workplace; what do I do?

Check that all sections are marked with a green tick. If one or more sections is marked with a red exclamation mark, it means you haven’t finished that section. Check the sections that are not finished; have you gone through and clicked all the boxes and icons? They should be marked with a tick in the right corner for you to be approved. Once you have gone through the whole section and all the boxes and icons are ticked, an acknowledgement comes up at the bottom of the section that you must tick.

If that doesn't solve the problem, make sure that pop ups is turned on in the browser you're using. For instructions on how to do this, search on Google for enable pop ups and then the brand of your browser, mobile phone or tablet. For example, enable pop-ups Google Chrome.

Can the workplace see if I have completed the introduction with an approved result?

Yes, the workplace can check if you have completed the introduction with an approved result.
They can see if you have completed Part 1 Values, General conduct, Health & Safety rules and if the period of validity has expired. They can see if you are approved for the current Part 2 workplace-specific introduction. They can also see if you started it but have not yet completed it.
