International Infrastructure

In 1955, Skanska began its expansion into many of the continents and countries that would one day become The World of Skanska Construction. In 1962 Skanska established an office in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia that would serve as a launching pad for more than 50 years of international construction on the African Continent. In the early 1970s Skanska alone and in joint ventures began a series of infrastructure improvement projects in the Middle East countries of Oman, Saudi Arabia and Libya.
