Bridges

Bridges are one of Skanska's most eye-catching core products, from the first Swedish concrete bridge, the Jordberga Bridge, still in use today, to the gigantic structures that today span sounds and rivers and connect countries. The Öland Bridge and Öresund Bridge in Sweden were soon followed by seismic retrofitting of the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge in California, construction of the Cooper River Bridge (also known as Arthur J. Ravenel Bridge) in South Carolina, as well as work on the iconic East River bridges in New York; the Brooklyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Williamsburg Bridge and Robert F. Kennedy Bridge (formerly the Triborough Bridge).
