Skanska has an in-house unit of technical consultants who work with technical support. As a technical consultant, you will help to raise the technical quality assurance of our projects throughout the country and contribute to the streamlining of the entire construction process, from development and tendering phase to implementation and property management.
Nearly 300 employees currently work at Skanska Technology and the operation is divided into six areas:
- Bridges and Civil Engineering
- Energy Design and Project Engineering
- Building and Residential
- Geotechnology and Infra
- Road and Asphalt
There are excellent opportunities for growth within each area for those who are interested in a specialized career. By working with technical support at Skanska, you will also have excellent insight into Skanska’s operations and major opportunities for advancement, not only within Skanska Technology, but in other areas of competencies as well.
At Skanska Technology, you will work in project formats and have close contact with both customers and suppliers. You may also work on internal and external research projects.
The commonly occurring roles in technical support are design engineer, project engineer and planner/BIM coordinator.
